Gareda is looking for an energetic, reliable a well-organized candidate to fill our Office Director position. This position will handle day to day operations in our brand-new Joliet location and will be responsible for developing intra-office communication protocols, inventory control and office staff supervision. Potential candidates should be experienced administrative professionals who don’t mind wearing multiple hats.
Duties:
- Implement office policies
- Organize office operations and procedures
- Maintain office equipment
- Maintain inventory of the office supplies and printed materials
- Verify receipt of supplies and submit receipts to Accounting Clerk
- Review job applications and schedule appointment for prospective employees
- Assist in the process of interviewing prospective employees by reviewing required documents associated with the hiring process
- Act as a primary recruitment and marketing agent for the office
- Monitoring office appearance and report any safety concerns
- Ensure filing systems are maintained and up to date
- Ensure protection and security of files and records
- Respond to safety requirements as provided by Gareda’s Safety Committee
- Ensure the office is open for business on days of operations and locked at the end of each day
- Other duties as required by Management
Qualification/Skills
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent as well as administrative and supervisory experience
- Knowledge of accounting, data and administrative management practices and procedures
- Knowledge of clerical practices and procedures
- Knowledge of human resources management practices and procedures
- Knowledge of business and management principles
- Computer skills and knowledge of office software packages
- Excellent interpersonal skills
