Manley Welcomes Gareda Home Care Services to Joliet
Joliet, Ill. – State Rep. Natalie Manley, D-Joliet, helped welcome Gareda Home Care Services to Joliet at their new office located at 2450 Glenwood Dr. on September 12th for an open house and ribbon cutting. Joliet Mayor Bob O’Dekirk and Gareda staff including Chief Development Officer Mary Killough, Chief Financial Officer Cynthia Fitch and Community Relations Specialist Patricia Matthews were also present to cut the ribbon.
“I’d like to welcome Gareda Home Care Services to Joliet, and congratulate them on the opening of their new office,” said Manley. “I appreciate the work they do and I look forward to having their services be available to the people of Will County.”
Gareda has been providing in-home care service for seniors, people with disabilities and veterans since 1981. Gareda also participates in the Illinois Department on Aging’s Community Care Program, which provides in-home care services to those 60 and older and in need of long term care. Gareda opened the Joliet office, the first in twenty years, in order to better serve the residents of Will County.
“For over thirty years Gareda has expertly provided in-home care to the residents of Cook County and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to provide home care for the seniors and individuals with disabilities in Will County,” said Mary Killough. “We are proud to open a Joliet office to serve the needs of Will County residents. The success of this expansion marks the beginning of a new period of growth for Gareda and we are appreciative that State Representative Natalie Manley, Mayor Bob O'Dekirk and the community chose to be a part of that celebration.”
